C3-XR model resumes production specifically for overseas markets

The Citroen brand C3-XR model produced by DPCA (a joint venture between Stellantis Group and Dongfeng Group) is one of the best-selling models in the world. 

The C3-XR is a small SUV launched by Dongfeng Citroen in 2014, with at least 8 million units worldwide, and is very popular in the Middle East, especially in Iran.

This model has a very high cost performance ratio and meets the needs of the public.



This model will be discontinued in China in 2023 due to the accelerated development of new energy vehicles, but there is strong demand overseas. In response to market demand, the factory will resume production of the improved model in June 2026 and specifically sell it overseas.

Vehicle dimensions: length, width, and height are 4288/1748/1557mm, with a wheelbase of 2655mm;

Engine: Equipped with a 1.6L engine, 230THP version: maximum power of 100kW (approximately 136 horsepower), peak torque of 230N · m.

Transmission: Equipped with a 6-speed wet dual clutch transmission.

Fuel consumption: The official comprehensive fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is about 5.1L.



Chassis and suspension drive mode: front wheel drive. Front suspension: MacPherson independent suspension. Rear suspension: torsion beam non independent suspension.
