On February 20, 2025, Dongfeng Motor Corporation held its Southeast Asia DONGFENG DAY brand event in Jakarta, Indonesia. The event saw over 100 dealer representatives, partners, and guests from the financial and media sectors across Southeast Asian countries, including Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, and the ASEAN region.
During the event, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles launched its overseas right-hand drive product line for the first time. New right-hand drive models such as the DONGFENG GX, DONGFENG KC PRO, and DONGFENG KC PLUS made their spectacular debut.
The event featured several exhibition areas, including port logistics, highway trunk routes, and mining zones. The exhibits covered a wide range of vehicles, such as tractors and dump trucks, as well as components like engines, gearboxes, and wheel reduction bridges. The display featured both new energy and traditional energy vehicles, offering a comprehensive, one-stop showcase of Dongfeng’s cutting-edge technology and segmented products in the commercial vehicle sector.
At the event, Ma Lei, General Manager of Dongfeng Import & Export Company, expressed that Dongfeng would continue to uphold a long-term development approach and work hand-in-hand with overseas partners to accelerate the implementation of strategic layouts for its international business. He emphasized the goal of supporting the growth of local industries and sectors.

The event also detailed Dongfeng’s commercial vehicle strategy for the Southeast Asian market. Dongfeng has already completed platform development for models like the GX, KC PLUS, and KR in the local market, covering a wide range of high, medium, and mainstream products. These include both diesel and new energy vehicles, meeting the customized needs of overseas market users. Dongfeng is committed to enhancing local production capabilities, offering diverse financial solutions, and working together with partners for win-win development.
To further expand market coverage and service capabilities, Dongfeng will increase the number of service outlets to 64 along key public routes on Sumatra and Java islands, ensuring a service radius of less than 50 km and 100% service coverage across the region. Dongfeng will also guarantee a 100% issue resolution rate within 72 hours, responding swiftly to any customer issues during vehicle use and ensuring 100% availability of spare parts to maintain high operational efficiency for customer vehicles.
Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles also unveiled three new right-hand drive models: DONGFENG GX, DONGFENG KC PRO, and DONGFENG KC PLUS. As a leader in trunk logistics, the flagship DONGFENG GX has set multiple performance benchmarks at a global level and has become a classic bestseller, with annual global sales of over 10,000 units for a single model. The DONGFENG KC PRO is designed for heavy-duty transport in mining and port areas, demonstrating exceptional reliability over long-term use by millions of users. The DONGFENG KC PLUS is a high-performance heavy-duty dump truck that meets Euro V emission standards, offering strong load-bearing capacity and outstanding overall performance.
During the event, all Junfeng company staff, along with local customers and partner representatives, shared stories of collaboration with Dongfeng Motor. Dongfeng signed cooperation agreements with its core partners.
