Since the launch of European deliveries in December 2024, the JF-S3 has continued to showcase its "Eastern charm" in the European market.
In the Netherlands, the JF-S3 topped the January sales chart for Chinese brand EVs, with nearly 300 units delivered locally. Dealers have reported that the model perfectly balances European users' dual pursuit of space efficiency and driving pleasure, with orders growing far beyond expectations. In Norway, the country with the highest EV penetration rate globally, the JF-S3 received over 100 orders in its first month, with its outstanding handling performance in snowy conditions being highly praised. In Central Europe, the JF-S3 has achieved a top market share in its segment in the Czech Republic. Meanwhile, in Latvia, located on the Baltic coast, the JF-S3 set a new record for Chinese brand EVs, achieving a 10% market share and being praised by local media as a "phenomenal product that redefines industry standards."
The success of the JF-S3 in overseas markets is attributed to its precise market positioning and deeply customized strategy. For example, in the Netherlands, Dongfeng Nammi upgraded the charging interface to the CCS2 European standard and developed an intelligent cockpit that supports multiple language switching. In the Czech Republic, a winter option package was introduced to accommodate the local climate, featuring a heated steering wheel and heat pump air conditioning. The Norwegian version strengthened the battery insulation system to ensure stable range performance in environments as cold as -20°C.
In addition to precise positioning, the JF-S3 has actively explored diversified application scenarios. In Mexico City, it became the designated vehicle for shared mobility operators. In Bangkok, it transformed into a "mobile coffee workshop," stimulating the local business economy. In Africa, the equipped solar charging kit overcame local infrastructure bottlenecks, marking the shift of Chinese new energy vehicle exports from a single trade model to a full value chain export of "products + services + ecosystem."
In terms of production capacity, Dongfeng Nammi is accelerating the construction of a global system. The European R&D center is in the substantial construction phase, focusing on cutting-edge fields such as intelligent driving and vehicle connectivity. The Southeast Asia KD factory has entered the equipment commissioning phase and is expected to achieve localized production by mid-year. In South America, a new business model of "battery leasing + vehicle-electricity separation" was innovatively launched in collaboration with local mobility platforms.
Additionally, Dongfeng Nammi's new model, the JF-06, has recently been revealed, generating industry attention overseas. Featuring an "interstellar geometric" design language, the car is outlined with a continuous starry light strip that creates a futuristic contour. Its unique "light domain surrounding cockpit" combines 256-color ambient lighting and translucent decorative panels to create a mobile light and shadow art space. With the addition of the JF-06, Dongfeng Nammi officially forms a "JF-S3 + JF-06" dual vehicle matrix, covering the A0 and A segments.
